Baricza sometimes known as Bear to his close friends, is a patrol car officer. He's tall as well as handsome and has a warm smile.
Baricza patrols the same beat as Jon and Ponch and is often seen either arriving at the scene or already at the scene of many of their accidents. He mainly controls traffic or is a mode of transportation for the criminal element or if any members of public require assistance.
Baricza was ordered to take Mrs Downey home due to the fact that she was irratating Getraer to the point of blackmail.

- Death Watch - Whilst performing a sobriety test on a deuce, a van side swipes his patrol car which in turn seriously injures Baricza and Officer Steve Wydemeyer. Both are taken to hospital and while Baricza pulled through, Steve died.
